[Planning] Digipack Cover [Front+Back]

Below was the former plan for a CD cover and we changed it so that it will be used for the digipack. Contained within the digipack, I will put in lyrics, feature more pictures from the music video and also hopefully include a QR code which will link people who scan it to the website of the group.
The first picture is the plan for the front cover, it has the original bands name though as we weren't sure whether to make up our own or to use the official bands name, after a lot of decision making, we finally decided to use our own name and chose "Ego Virus". The reason we chose "Ego Virus" is because it's represented in the music video. "Virus" is seen as the corrupted video that makes it look all glitch. The "Ego" is represented by the two characters in the music video and how they always hide their face and always appear to look quite strong and singular - always looking quite distant and trying to hide their ego, or so I intended for them.

[Planning] Music Video Preview

Here is just a preview of our music video, the start of it to say the least as we decided to make the picture glitch to try and make it seem like an issue or hacked footage. We made this preview to get a good look at the quality of the video when it is uploaded to YouTube and how we can up the quality to try and make it look better.

[Planning] Costumes for Music Video

Using a website called padlet, we thought through our costumes for the most part as well as ideas and what they represent if you look at them in depth, as explained in the screen shot below. This was so that we could try and incorporate different themes into our music video.

[Planning] CD cover - Editing

Above is one of the many ideas we had for the album cover - we used the effect overlay and from experiments, it worked better on an image with darker clothing as the overlay seemed to be better to see as well as it simply worked.
Though this is not the image we want to use for our final cover, we do want to use the image we used for the overlay, as well as this gives us an insight as to what type of clothing we should be wearing in order to make sure this effect really works.
This gave us ideas for what to do with the cover so we will be putting up some pictures of sketches and the likes of future ideas for the album cover.

[Planning] Location for Music Video

When deciding on the location for our music video to take place - we decided to take it somewhere close to home that wouldn't require too much time for us to travel to. That was when we noticed that a small portion of our back garden was quite overgrown and suited the theme of the music video. It gave that bit of a urban, overgrown and foreign look and would hopefully give that off for the music video to say the least.

This is what lead to us deciding on this place for our main location, other areas that are seen in the music video are from other places about the garden as well as in the house. We decided on this due to us wanting to spend more time on filming than having to travel about as well as us wanting to be closer to home, quite literally at this point, in case something was to happen.

There are a few noticeable issues with filming here as not only is there a lot of overgrown areas in this plot of land, there's also a few obstacles that will be risk assessed as the area itself does seem a bit too dangerous in order to actually do anything with.

[Research] More CD Covers

I looked at more CD covers and how they appeal to their target audience as well as let people know of the genre of the songs that are present of the album. This was to help me get a better insight into what I wanted for my CD cover and what I would want on it.

[Planning] Permission Request

I sent a message to the record label who produced the album which the song I'll be using for my music video is from. Below is a copy of the email I have sent them to request the permission to use such;
